I'm Jana Gough, wife to Wayne who spoils me perfectly and mom to two boys and a daughter all learning how to adult. My happy place is outdoors hiking with my dog or snorkeling with my family. Growing up my dad was a general contractor and mom was a cosmetologist so bringing the exquisite out in people and their environment was the example I was raised with.

People and relationships are what I am passionate about. Home should be an inviting place of beauty and peace. A place where friends and family gather and memories are made. Home is a place where people experience the best of times and should be a place of comfort in their hardest times.  I've experienced seasons of chaos in my own life and by the grace of God also experienced seasons of awe inspiring tranquility. I know how our circumstances can affect our home.

As an interior designer my aspiration is to create a personalized space that brings it’s owners peace of mind through thoughtful design custom to my clients needs and desires. In teaming up with my husband I'm the official designer for Gough Contracting specializing in custom homes, remodels, and additions. I also provide services such as home staging and interior decorating. As a furniture wholesaler and lighting broker I am able to provide elements that are unique to my clients.

Top notch contracting and design team. Gough Contracting and Jana Gough Design have been invaluable to us as we remodel our out-of-date home in Park City. Working with this husband and wife team has been an absolute delight. For every project, big or small, Wayne and Jana have listened to our concerns, carefully considered our budget, and added in their valuable professional opinions to ensure flawless finished quality.

Wayne is a very knowledgeable contractor who builds custom homes, so he was able to guide us through a complete kitchen renovation, and organized a variety of other repairs including new floors on the main level, an upgraded HVAC system, installing a gas line and vented hood in the kitchen, new insulation in the attic, new garage doors, and a new roof, heat tape, and gutters. Jana's design services were invaluable for our kitchen remodel. She listened to our input and provided suggestions based on our tastes as well as her knowledge of the home styles and trends in Park City. The result was a gorgeous kitchen that is both functional for our family of 6 and elevated in design. It was even featured in the prestigious Park City Build Magazine! With 4 young kids, we spend a ton of time in the kitchen, and we enjoy being in such a gorgeous space every day. Friends and family could hardly believe that our before and after pictures were the same space.

Both Wayne and Jana are always readily available to answer questions. Wayne is a very involved general contractor, which was very important to us after a past negative experience with an absentee contractor. He spends a lot of time on the job site, and often works with his crew. Jana was also very involved during the entire kitchen remodel. We found that using a contractor and design team ensured that the planning, design, and construction phases of our projects all flowed seamlessly.   One of the best parts of working with Gough Contracting and Jana Gough Design is their flexibility with how involved each homeowner wants to be with the project. We prefer to be very involved in our projects, and Wayne and Jana made our presence feel welcome at all times. We never felt railroaded in choosing designs and finishes, and they always patiently explained the details of the process and listened to our opinions.

We lived in our house during the kitchen construction, and the Gough Contracting team and subcontractors were always friendly, efficient, and considerate of our family and kids. They showed up on time, worked hard, cleaned up, and completed the projects quickly and as scheduled. Our kitchen was torn down to the studs and built back to completion in a short 6 weeks.

We have been thrilled with the work that Gough Contracting and Jana Gough Design have completed on our home over the past year, and we plan to continue updating our home with Wayne and Jana.
